Responsive web design means refers to websites which respond to their environment. For the most part, this means different views and layouts for different screens. By “different screens” we’re not talking about different sized monitors for desktop and laptop computers – we’re actually talking about completely different devices; most notably, tablet computers (such as the iPad or Google Nexus 7), smartphones and other devices that can surf the Internet (such as the iPod touch).
